1.1 By using Judita’s Dog Grooming services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.

1.2 You confirm that you are the legal owner of the dog or have permission from the owner to make decisions regarding grooming and care.

1.3 All dogs are groomed at the owner’s risk, and the owner remains responsible for any actions or behaviour of their dog.

2.1 You must inform Judita’s Dog Grooming before the appointment of:

• Any medical conditions
• Allergies or skin sensitivities
• Previous injuries or surgeries
• Behavioural issues (anxiety, aggression, biting, nervousness)

2.2 Failure to disclose relevant information may result in the groom being stopped and full payment still being due.

2.3 Elderly dogs or dogs with health conditions are groomed with extra care, but Judita’s Dog Grooming cannot be held responsible for any stress-related reactions.

2.4 If your dog shows aggressive or dangerous behaviour, the groom may be terminated immediately, and you will be charged the full appointment fee.

3.1 You must cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours before the scheduled time.

3.2 If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, or you fail to attend (no-show), a 100% cancellation fee will be charged as the appointment cannot be filled at short notice.

3.3 Repeated late cancellations may require payment in advance for future bookings.

4.1 If your dog is found to have fleas at the appointment:

• The groom will be stopped immediately
• Your dog will be sent home
• The full appointment fee (100%) will still be charged

4.2 Your dog may only be rebooked once they have been fully treated and are flea-free.

4.3 An additional cleaning fee may apply to cover salon sanitation if fleas are present.

5.1 You understand and agree that your dog’s comfort and welfare come first.

5.2 If your dog’s coat is matted:

• The coat may need to be clipped short or shaved
• De-matting may not be possible due to pain and skin damage risk
• The groomer will choose the kindest option for your dog

5.3 Severe matting can cause:

• Skin irritation
• Bruising
• Small nicks or cuts
• Behavioural distress

You accept that these risks are unavoidable in some cases.

5.4 Extra time and specialist equipment may be required, and additional fees may apply.

6.1 Judita’s Dog Grooming uses professional, pet-safe products. Please inform us of any known sensitivities.

6.2 Owners must ensure their dog has had the opportunity to toilet before arrival.

6.3 Dogs must be collected promptly at the agreed time. Late collection may incur a charge.

6.4 Dogs in season must be disclosed before the appointment.

7.1 Grooming involves sharp equipment and handling; although every care is taken, minor nicks or irritation can occasionally occur.

7.2 Judita’s Dog Grooming will not be held liable for:

• Pre-existing health conditions
• Skin issues hidden by matting
• Reactions to grooming due to undisclosed problems

7.3 In the unlikely event of an emergency, you authorise Judita’s Dog Grooming to seek veterinary assistance at your expense if you cannot be contacted.

8.1 We may take photographs of your dog for:

• Social media
• Website
• Marketing purposes

Please inform us if you do not consent to this.

9.1 Payment is due on the day of the appointment unless otherwise agreed.

9.2 Prices are based on breed, size, coat condition, and behaviour.

9.3 Additional charges may apply for:

• Matting
• Difficult behaviour
• Flea treatment
• Excessive coat condition

10.1 Judita’s Dog Grooming reserves the right to refuse or stop a groom at any time if:

• The dog’s behaviour puts safety at risk
• The dog is in pain or distress
• The coat condition requires veterinary attention
